Navigator Window Basics

How to Open the Navigator Window
The Navigator Window is located on the left-hand side of the MT4 platform, between the Market Watch and Terminal Window. There are three ways to display or hide it:
- Keyboard Shortcut: Press Ctrl + N
- Toolbar Button: Click the Navigator icon
- Menu Option: Go to View > Navigator
Once enabled, the panel gives access to a variety of useful features for efficient MT4 trading.
Key Tabs in the Navigator Panel
The Navigator Window contains several essential tabs that support your MT4 forex activities:
Accounts Tab
- Allows you to switch between different trading accounts.
- When you select Save Account Information, the platform stores your login credentials for future sessions.
Indicators Tab
- Enables you to add technical indicators to your charts.
- Perfect for traders customizing charts for deeper technical analysis.
Expert Advisors (EAs) Tab
- Lets you manage automated trading strategies.
- Attach and configure EAs directly from this panel to enhance your MT4 trading efficiency.
Scripts Tab
- For users who want to automate specific actions, scripts can be executed here.
- Ideal for quick, custom operations that simplify tasks like batch orders or alerts.
